Hi All,
LFSRelax is a neat program that does about 4 things well. It has PitSpotter built in so when a car overtakes you no matter which side PitSpotter tells you Car Left, Car Right, Your in the Middle, Clear etc etc. It also calculates the fuel you have left in you tank so no excuses if you run out. It has a Blip Sound when full revs are reached enabling you to know when to change gear and a few more that aren't worth covering.

1 ) Download LFSRelax from the attachment

2 ) Unzip it and put it where your other LFS Addons are kept.

3 ) Open the LFSRelax Folder and Right Click the LFSRelax.exe and select "Send To" and then "Desktop (Create Shorcut)"

4 ) Still in the LFSRelax Folder open the "LFSRelax.cfg" file with NotePad. DO NOT use anything other than NotePad.

5 ) Search down the LFSRelax.cfg until you find the following....
Quote:
################################################################################
# GameStat
################################################################################
EnableGameStat = true
Database = ./PB.txt
MyUsername =
isMph = true

Add your Username to "MyUsername = "
If you use kph the change "isMph = true" to "isMph = false"

6 ) Make sure you have NO Passwords set in LiveForSpeed, even in single player or Hosting areas of the Sim.

7 ) Ensure LiveForSpeed isn't running and Right Click the LFS Shortcut and select Properties. In the Target Field after LFS.exe" add a SPACE then type /insim=25257 Click APPLY, if you don't get an error then close the properties box.

8 ) Start LiveForSpeed, you should then see a confirmation saying "InSim - TCP : LFSRelax (UDP port 24257)" which confirms insim is running.

9 ) Now start LFSRelax. You should see the following message.....
Quote:

Connecting
Connection OK
Product:S2 Version:0.5Z InSim Version:4
LFSRelax is running...

and hear the word "CLEAR" This confirms LFSRelax is running and connected to LiveForSpeed.

10 ) Thats it you now have LFSRelax working... ENJOY biggrin

Problem is i cannot work out how to stop it 'rapping', updating the pit radio messages too quickly...

I think you'll find it only does that when there's a lot of cars about Chop , if u try it on a quieter server it'll be OK ... but when u have about 6 cars around u going into T1 its a right nightmare , i also like the fact it has a laps/fuel gauge plus the distance in time of how far u are infront or behind someone wink

Does anyone have a LFSRelax.cfg file i can use where the data for how far or behind the cars closest to you are is not right at the bottom? Mine is dead center right at the bottom and would prefer it somewhere else, not really sure how to adjust position as the co-ordinates supplied are like gobbledegook to me. If no luck i guess i just have to try and make sense of them...

Yeah will do mate, thought it might be easier to just copy and paste any different co-ords into this post, then people (myself lol) have the freedom to choose whichever they want...
