Hi , i just thought I'd share this with you all ... today Tur8o and me went to a Kart track and ripped up the tarmac for almost one hour . this was the first time either of us had raced Karts ( i must say it was absolutely awesome ) . the lap record in the Pro Kart category ( which is what we raced in ) is 50.71 ... i managed a 57.77 and Tur8o got a 55.56 so yet again i was beaten sad

. like i said though this was our first time ... but it definitely won't be the last .

Havent been karting for ages, im a big lad (6' 5" & 16st) so it doesnt really suit me, but i do have a 'driving experience' @ Siverstone to book
Missus got it for me as a gift, can drive 1 of a few cars i think...

I fancy the single seater as i dont think i would ever get the chance to drive one of those again, but i might be too big to fit in lol
So if i cant do that then im thinking roasting a Ferrari 360 around Silverstone sounds refreshing biggrin

Looks like a lot of fun Chop , if it was anything like the Karting we went to you will love it wink

... mind you i think i would have to do more than 3 laps , they'd have to prise me outta the car with some force happy

I have been karting long time ago and i loved it! It was 15 minute race! i didnt do too good first time did lik 2 seconds away from 10th best time! After a month i decided to go again with same people who beat me like 3 laps! This time i beat them for 2 and 1 lap! From record i got 0.00,346 away! I dont know how i managed it but i loved it very much! Then more people then better, i was really agressive that day just like when i was racing with my old racing car smile

nah seriously tho he was quick , but I'm half a stone heavier than him so that makes me slightly slower cry

... I'm trying to get a race team set up with people from my work , I've already said he can race in my group ... so we should clean up wink

love karts to i even got me 1 biggrin

an old one tho but still fast even won me couple of amateur leagues wink

was it a 4 stroke or 2 stroke kart sin?
i prefer 2 stroke

They are twin engined , 2 stroke pro Karts ... pretty fast really , when we go down the main straight the wind pressure gets under the helmet if you don't keep your chin down and it pushes your head back smile
