I'm still an LFS racer 1st and foremost, but AC can be fun in my spare time. In the game there are a series of challenges, some are ridiculously simple while others are tough. There's one called 'BMW Challenge' that has you starting at the back of a 12 car grid of BMW M3 E30 Group A cars for 5 laps at Mugello. It's tough and if any of you have tried this challenge feel free to discuss it - has anyone beaten it on the Alien difficulty?

I've never tried AC, it does look quite good... But I've heard it doesn't feel as good as LFS

You heard right: it is indeed quite good, and it is true that it doesn't feel as good as LFS. I can vouch for both of those things biggrin

But here's something that is more fun than Assetto Corsa, this is what I do when I'm not playing LFS..

Assetto Corsa 1.0 is freakin awesome! They've really made all the right improvements, especially the FFB - I hate to say it.. but the FFB is actually even better than LFS now

This is one of the hardest challenges in the game, at least that I've come across so far. B2R Garally makes it a point to challenge anyone he talks to into trying it. It's sorta known as the impossible AC challenge. They give you a piece of crap BMW that cannot corner to save it's life. The thing just has no grip - it's on street tires to make matters worse. Anyways - the challenge for Gold is to get under 1:52.000
It was a pain in my ass, but I finally did it.

ok, maybe this is the hardest challenge in the game. Neither PectoRis, B2R Garally, or I could get a Bronze on this thing this morning. I finally did, but it's a tough challenge.
